Cambridge Memories -- Old and New

49th Annual History of Economics Society (HES) Meeting

Geoff was a Distinguished Fellow of the History of Economics Society. At the 49th Annual HES Meeting, Geoff was honoured.

Joan wrote:

Geoff would have been so honoured to be remembered in this opening session of the HES. We wanted to say thank you for all the many kind messages about Geoff. Knowing he was so loved by many has greatly helped us in this time of loss and grief. His care and generosity of spirit shines through as well as his legacy of social justice for humanity. The conversations and tributes confirm how much he cared for his colleagues, students and friends. The many stories from around the world reflects not only his great love of people but also his passion and hopes for the future.
